Our Challenge
Nexus Geographics is a technology company specialized in geolocation, urban mobility and Smart City solutions with more than 25 years of experience and formed by 100 specialists. Its objective is to help companies, public organizations and individuals, to visualize their world and analyze their data through maps, better understanding their activity.
Nexus Geographics is on a steady pace, with more than 800 clients, 30 million maps generated daily and more than 2.000 projects undertaken. Even so, the company is aware of the importance of maintaining a proactive sales strategy in constant execution. To this end, in 2021, the Catalonian company decided to rely on our B2B Business Consulting and Outsourced Sales service for technology companies in order to boost the sale of its solutions enMapa and Recitty.

Our Solution
In order to nurture Nexus Geographics’ sales funnel with more qualified leads, set up sales meetings and increase the number of business opportunities for the enMapa solution, a specialized GIS system for municipalities that helps to transform large amounts of data into useful knowledge, the collaboration began with a kickoff session that allowed us to get into the details of the project.
In this kick-off session, we defined the first key aspects for the development of the sales strategy, such as size of the municipalities to be prospected, ideal customer profile, purchase motivation and potential pains, among others. From this joint analysis with our client, it was determined that municipalities with a certain number of inhabitants had more reasons to adopt the enMapa solution in order to improve their decision making.
With the strategy’s direction clear, the project’s production team carried out a series of commercial messages that would allow us to attract the attention of the ideal customer profile. The main motivation for the purchase was to improve their internal organization and efficiency, as well as to modernize their management with access to data through a modular and flexible tool.
Although the initial message was well received by the prospects, the feedback gathered by the naifman team during the first weeks of work suggested that it was necessary to target more technical profiles, who could appreciate the benefits of enMapa in their daily work.
This change allowed us to increase the number of sales meetings by using a combined email and telephone strategy, thanks to which we were able to generate almost fifty business opportunities in a few months and win our first project.
In parallel to the strategy set out for enMapa, last year the naifman team took on a similar challenge with Recitty, a Smart City platform for all types of cities that offers a privileged view of the city, integrating and analyzing information from internal and external sources in real time to offer a better quality of life to its inhabitants.
For this project, the strategic definition determined to contact larger municipalities (in terms of number of inhabitants) than those we had been contacting for enMapa, and also those that we know are on the way to becoming smart cities, based on constant prospecting and arduous research work.
The latter is the main differentiating point with respect to the strategy developed by naifman for enMapa. For the Recitty project, the naifman team devotes more time to prospecting and documentation analysis, since the awarding of certain funds aimed at transforming smart cities needs to be investigated in detail. Once this information has been collected, our consultants develop customized messages for each municipality depending on the type of fund, its use and the initiative(s) for which it is intended.
To date, with these sales strategies for enMapa and Recitty we have been able to raise more than 80 commercial opportunities for Nexus Geographics.
