Our Challenge

Aquiles Solutions, based in Barcelona, Spain, is a company dedicated to custom software consulting and development, with a focus on optimization technologies, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, applicable across various productive sectors.

Through its « business intelligence » philosophy, Aquiles Solutions offers digital solutions that help companies to transform and adapt to the new era of data-driven economics, supporting their strategic decisions with data science and building digital solutions to enhace efficiency and enable their digital transformation.

In June 2020, the Catalanan company decided to rely on naifman’s B2B Business Development Consulting and Outsourced Sales Force service to expand its presence in the Spanish market and explore opportunities in the Swiss market, focusing on the sale of Industry 4.0 solutions.

As they approach their tenth anniversary, Aquiles Solutions continues to support its customers on their path to business success through the integration of Artificial Intelligence services. From naifman, we are proud to have supported them in this task between 2020 and 2022, in what we consider a very positive and enriching collaboration for both parties.

Our Solution

To help Aquiles Solutions to increase the number of leads and sales opportunities, naifman launched its B2B Business Consulting and Outsourced Sales Force service with a kick-off session that allowed us to understand the client’s comercial situation and identify the main points on which to build the business development strategy.

In line with the above, we agreed with the client on the most interesting sectors for their business and the ideal company profile, segmenting them by annual turnover and number of employees. This earlier work suggested that we should focus our efforts on attracting clients from companies with a turnover of more than 50 million euros in the manufacturing, chemical and food sectors, to offer tailor-made optimization solutions.

With a clear customer segmentation, naifman’s production team designed a workflow (sales process) for a lead generation strategy via mailing, consisting of 11 customizable templates aimed at generating interest from Production/Plant/Factory Managers, Engineering, Continuous Improvement and Industrial roles; and finally, CIOs/CTOs or Digital Transformation Directors. For personalization, the team daily researched relevant news and the investment plans of each company to craft an accurate and attractive message.

In Spain, this strategy allowed us to identify opportunities and establish direct contact with decision-makers from 60 different companies, who were interested in Aquiles’ services. Given its success in Spain, the strategy was extended to the Swiss market, with a special focus on the logistics sector and the sale of custom solutions, including a SaaS product: Aquiles Solutions’ automatic order reader. This campaign, executed in a considerably shorter period of time, resulted in the generation of 14 business opportunities.

Results:

  • During our collaboration, naifman generated 74 business meetings with companies in the chemical, logistics, food and manufacturing sectors, among others, both in Spain and Switzerland.
  • Aquiles Solutions succeesfully closed projects with 6 different companies, both for custom projects and in-company training, marking Aquiles Solutions’ successful entry into the competitive Swiss market.
  • The first project in Switzerland demonstrated the value of Aquiles Solutions in operational efficiency, cost reduction, productivity improvement and lead time.

Conclusions:

In addition, the joint work demonstrated the effectiveness of the collaboration between the two companies in the generation of sales opportunities and business development at the international level.
